Working draft, written plainly. A lawyer-reviewed version replaces this before we take on client work; until then it states our actual operating policy and is not legal advice.
The Exit Brief and Proposal
The Exit Brief is an on-screen document computed from published list prices and what you told the interview. It is a first reading, not a quote, and it deliberately carries no savings estimate and no build price. The Exit Proposal puts a fixed price and scope on the Exit Audit — the paid study that follows — and is signed by a named senior specialist; while the firm is young, every commitment we make to a client is also countersigned by Sharad Kumar, who is accountable for it. Only a paid Exit Audit fixes a build price and a date.
The Exit Audit stands alone
The Audit is its own engagement, at a fixed price. Its fee is never credited toward a build, so its recommendation — including 'keep this tool' — carries no conflict of interest.
Ownership and IP
Once you have paid, every right in the software we build that can be assigned is assigned to you, and the specifications and documentation come with it. The code lives in your repository from the first commit. Where AI wrote the code, we say so.
Data extraction
You run the exports from your existing SaaS yourself, under your own accounts, using each vendor's official export tools; we advise. Done that way, the extraction stays inside your vendors' terms of service.
